A New Direction for a New Day

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Greetings

Greetings my brothers and sisters!

We are at a fork in the road as church. We need to choose wisely. The wrong road can lead to bad outcomes, but the right road can lead to a bright and prosperous future. We definitely want to choose the right road!

In John 11, Mary and Martha were in crisis, there brother Lazarus had just died. But they came out of their crisis because they had 3 things in Jesus.

  • They had leadership they could trust
  • They had sacrificial leadership ( Jesus left where he was to come and see about them.)
  • They had compassionate leadership.

We too can come out of crisis by choosing the right leadership. Let’s take the right road.

Give All You Can: and unlock the joy of generosity

Have you ever struggled with giving? Have you ever felt the tension that exists between giving at a level that you know is minimal and knowing you can do better? Have you said the only nudge I need to give more is a clearer understanding of God’s Word? Well, your search is over! Give All You Can is the book for you! After reading these 52 devotions, one for each Sunday of the year (I would also suggest that congregations can read them together just before the offertory), the struggle you once had with giving will cease and you will receive the joy and blessings that come with being a generous giver.
